CRBC - Stands Against Bullying

CRBC Faculty, Staff, and Students took a stand against bullying and showed their support by wearing purple on Wednesday, October 20th!!

Pink Day - Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness about breast cancer and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure. Students at the Johnstown and Indiana campus of CRBC have been busy selling breast cancer awareness pens with the CRBC logo on them to raise funds and even had a Pink Day to get the word out about prevention.

Purple Day - Epilepsy Awareness

The Johnstown Campus recently held a Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness. Almost 3 million people in the United States have some form of epilepsy. Each year about 200,000 new cases of seizure disorders and epilepsy are diagnosed each year. About 10 percent of the American population will experience a seizure at sometime in their lifetime. Kerry Schrock - Future Employee of the Month - October 2010

The Johnstown Campus of Cambria-Rowe Business College sponsors a Future Employee of the Month Award each quarter to honor a student. The winner receives a reserved parking spot in the lower lot for the month of October and a free lunch provided by the CRBC Cafe. Faculty and staff nominate and choose the award winner based on criteria compiled not only by faculty and staff, BUT by actual employers. The characteristics employers cite as being most important are:

The Fall 2010 winner of the Future Employee of the Month Award at the Johnstown Campus is Kerry Schrock. Kerry is currently on the honors list and has a 99.4% attendance. Congratulations Kerry!
